Serondella, which means ‘The Place of the Elephant’ in Shangaan, is a home away from home for our guests where Monica and Chewie are always ready to go the extra mile, ensuring all your needs are met.

The elevated deck in the main area has a spectacular view of a waterhole surrounded by a stand of tamboti trees. The sightings here of elephant, buffalo, antelope and the occasional big cat can be so good that guests are hesitant to go out on game drives.

Serondella is an intimate lodge, accommodating only eight guests at a time, so a peaceful stay is guaranteed. There’s a treetop lookout deck and a central swimming pool to cool off in, however it’s the deck overlooking the waterhole that is by far the most popular, and keeps people coming back again and again.
